NORMAS MARPOL / MARPOL STANDARDS
El puerto de Comodoro Rivadavia tiene una política ambiental la cual busca el equilibrio entre las actividades productivas y el cuidado del ambiente. Las diferentes industrias radicadas en el ámbito portuario deben cumplir la normativa ambiental vigente específicas de la actividad y las establecidas por el Ministerio de Ambiente y Control del Desarrollo Sustentable de la provincia del Chubut. Dichas normativas están relacionadas a la gestión de los efluentes líquidos, la gestión de residuos en general y la preservación del ambiente.
Los buques nacionales y extranjeros que operan en el puerto deberán ajustarse a los estándares locales y las normas internacionales establecidos por la OMI a través del convenio MARPOL y leyes de aplicación locales.Normativas

The port of
Comodoro Rivadavia has an environmental policy which seeks the balance between
productive activities and environmental care. The different industries located
in the port area must comply with the current environmental regulations
specific to the activity and those established by the Ministry of Environment
and Sustainable Development Control of the Province of Chubut. These
regulations relate to the management of liquid effluents, the management of
waste in general and the preservation of the environment.
Domestic and
foreign ships operating in the port shall comply with local standards and
international standards established by the IMO through the MARPOL convention
and local enforcement laws.
